Takeley FC would like to announce the appointment of Duncan Easley to the role of first team manager

Following the recent departure of Tony Gold, Pat Curran, Chairman of Takeley FC would like to announce the appointment of Duncan Easley to the role of first team manager.

Duncan comes from a strong footballing background where he has played for Royston, Saffron Walden, and Ware football clubs.  He also brings to the club a wealth of coaching experience which he gained with Buntingford and Royston where he has been the assistant manager since 2008, the year they won promotion to Step 5.  Further successes with Royston came in 2009/10 when they reached the final 16 of FA Vase; 2011/12 saw the club win the league and 3 cups, gaining them promotion to step 4 and also getting to last 32 of the Vase.Finally in 2012/13 they finished 7th in the league only 2 points short of the play-offs.

 

Duncan has lived in Stansted for ten years and brings with him a good solid understanding of the local football landscape.  The Club are looking forward to working with and supporting Duncan in his new role and believe he is the right man to take the team to the next level bringing sustained success to the team.
